Finikoudes is a Blue Flag awarded beach in the heart of Larnaca, Cyprus. It is my favorite place in Cyprus, not only for the large sandy beach with clean water, but also for the perfect combination of restaurants, bars, shops, water and sand sports. Finikoudes is a complete beach where everyone can find their favorite activity to do.

It has greyish volcanic sand and the water is and crystal clear, but don’t expect the turquoise waters of Ayia Napa. The shallow water is perfect for kids and swimming. You have the option of renting umbrellas and sunbeds for € 2,5 each or just put your the towel on the sand and enjoy.

In the middle of the beach you can find a beach bar with scnacks, soft drinks, cocktails and cold beer.

The beach is about 500 meters long and 60 meters wide, making it perfect for practicing sports on the sand or in the water. Finikoudes starts at the Marina and goes to the Medieval Fort.

At Marina you already find several options for boat trips:

Finikoudes Promenade

The promenada is the perfect place to walk with your family and friends, there you will find a wide selection of restaurants and cafes for all budgets and tastes. Continuing down the street behind the promenade you will find a great selection of shops.

Sports at Finikoudes

On the left side of the beach, you'll discover a line of exercise machines and various public sports courts. Additionally, there is a designated area for beach tennis enthusiasts. On the right side, there are exciting water sports activities available for a fee, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboarding, jet skis, water skiing, banana boat rides, and more.
